Choc Chip Cookies
I'm not claiming this recipe, my husband mentioned a few times that he had a craving for them, so being the awesome wife that I am I decided to make them for him haha!
150gr butter
1/2 cup caster sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 3/4 cups plain flour
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Method...
1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees celsius and line two oven trays with greaseproof paper, sticking to the tray with a little bit of water
2.Cream the butter and the sugars together using an electric mixer
3. Add the egg and beat lightly
4. Sift and fold in the flour then fold in the chocolate chips last.
5. Using a teaspoon, take a spoonful of the mixture and place it on the baking tray, repeat, making sure there are a few inches of space between each cookie to allow room for spreading.
6. Bake for 15 minutes, then remove and allow to cool in the tray, they will crisp up as they cool.
